Children's Choir
Children's Choir is an exciting activity offered for children from Preschool 4 year olds through 5th grade. Through singing, rhythm instruments(triangles, drums, sticks, etc.) and Orff instruments(xylophones, glockenspiels, and metallophones), the children have the opportunity to learn to read and play music as well as learn many new songs. Movement is also used with songs that are learned. The children enjoy fun interactions with each other, and sometimes get special treats during choir time.
The children present music to the St. Paul congregation 4-6 times a year during the 10:00am Sunday worship service. Special child-size robes are worn by the children when they sing during worship services. There is no pressure to attend other activities, but participation is always offered for the children and their family.
Any child from the community is welcome to join the St. Paul children for choir time every Wednesday from 6:30-7:00 p.m.
There is no charge for this music experience. Parents are welcome to stay and watch if interested.
